Flex/PRN Physical Therapist

North Valley Health Center is currently seeking a Flex/PRN Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services on a flexible schedule, working only when needed to cover staff shortages or additional patient demands at North Valley Health Center.

Position Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Graduate of accredited school of Physical Therapy.

​

License/Certificates:

Completed the required courses in Physical Therapy and graduated from an accredited institution.  Must have successfully passed the national exam and currently licensed by the State Physical Therapy Board for the State of Minnesota.

​

Special skills and Capabilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by responding quickly and appropriately to patient, customer and employee requests

  • Assist with the operations of the Physical Therapy Department.

    • Interpret all provider orders and develop appropriate treatment programs.

    • Perform initial evaluations and daily treatments to patients assigned

    • Complete appropriate documentation and report findings to the provider as needed.

    • Complete appropriate billing within the documentation.

    • Observe and record all changes in a patient’s status, making changes as appropriate in the treatment program, consulting with the provider if necessary.

    • Note diagnosis of patients and take all precautions for observing indications and contradictions for the modalities used.

    • Apply and direct the application of modalities.

    • Provide assistance to other staff as needed.

    • Acts as a resource person for all other medical services.

  • Meets basic responsibilities:

    • Arrive on time for work and ready to perform assigned tasks

    • Meet facility hygiene and appearance standards

    • Prioritize and complete work assignment within reasonable agreed-upon time frames.
