Francis N. LeBlanc, MD FAAFP
Francis (Frank) LeBlanc, MD was born and raised in Grand Forks North Dakota. He did his undergraduate education at Harvard College and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry in 1975. Following that he worked 2 years doing research at the USDA human nutrition labratory in Grand Forks. He earned a degree as Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nebraska School of Medicine in 1981 and did his residency at the Lincoln Family Medical Center in Lincoln, NE.
Dr. LeBlanc began his medical career in Warren in 1984 working for what was then Grand Forks Clinic. He began practicing for MeritCare in Perham, MN in 1997. Subsequent to that he practiced Emergency Medicine in various locations in Minnesota most recently working for Sanford Health in Bemidji, MN. During his tenure in Emergency Medicine he completed a fellowship in Integrative Medicine with Dr. Anderew Weil at the University of Arizona. He also completed training in Acupuncture at Stanford University Medical Center.
He is very pleased at this point in his career to return to Warren over 4 years ago. Life has in many ways come full circle. His and his wife Virginia have three children and seven grandchildren, who they spend as much time as they can with. Some of Dr. LeBlanc’s interests are sports, golf, fishing and gardening. One of his greatest joys is knowing he has helped others to live a healthier life and that he might have been able to assist them in that pursuit.
